This is a list of rules for any player at any field
Caution: This list might be the most complete list of rules you will ever see but their might be some rules that are unique to your field. Please listen to the safety orientation and read your fields rules because they change from year to year and from field to field.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Areas of the field you are at:
Playing field: Where youll be playing the game. Do not fire any where else but here nor do you fire torwards any other section i.e. staging area, spectator area...
Staging area: Where you get all your equipment set up
Spectator area: Where spectators sit to watch they game always protected by netting or reinforced glass.
Parking lot: I know common knowledge but do not set your equipment here first goto the staging area.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before you set up for play:
1 - Sign your waivers. All fields have you sign this so you cannot hold them responsible for any injury you may get while playing. By signing this you are saying you understand the risks (hardly any if you play safe) and that you cannot hold the field or it's employees responsible for your actions.
2 - If you are playing at a friends house be sure the field in which you are playing is safe. (If you are playing at a friends house see below)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Masks:
1 - Masks to be worn at all times on the field (no exceptions) feel free to wear them even in the staging area.
2 - Must be approved face wear for paintball. If not sure ask your ref. Common companies that make paintball safe face wear: JT, Dye, Scott and Raven. NO SHOP GLASSES
3 - There cannot be any cracks in the lenses
4 - Once again masks cannot be taken off for any reason on the playing field.
5 - Only use approved google cleaning sprays/liquids (You might make the protective lense weaker if you don't.
Paintball Markers:
1 - The paintball must travel below 300 fps (maybe different at your field ask your ref)
2 - Barrel plugs or Barrel condoms must be inserted or over the barrel at all time when you are in the staging area (including parking lot when you are first coming in even if the gun is degassed) or right after play.
3 - Only semi auto fire is allowed (once again field standard your field might allow full auto or burst once again ask you ref)
4 - BPS under 13 ball per second ( once again field standard your field might allow over 13 bps once again ask you ref)
Referees:
1 - The ref is always right
2 - Never argue with the ref
3 - The ref has supreme authority and has the power to eject you from the game or ban you from the field.
4 - Always respect the ref
5 - When he or she talks you listen.
6 - Don't shoot the ref.
7 - If you are out call it...dont make the refs job harder have some honor and integrity...
8 - If you do not agree with a refs call wait till the game is over to talk it out. If you do it on the field tensions will be high and you will be distracting them from doing their job.
Caution: The referee rules are all unique to the field so ask the ref to be sure.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Playing at a friend's house:
1 - Make sure the playing area is well clear of houses, people and animals like dogs and cats.
2 - Make sure you arent in a hunting area
3 - Make sure your guns are chronod under 300 fps at a local field DO NOT GUESSTIMATE
4 - Make sure you have a parent figure around.
5 - Make sure that the playing field is semi level and there arent any dangerious obsticles.
6 - Dont screw around no.1 way for you to get hurt
7 - Plan to play when you have light. Don't play at night its just dangerous
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cleaning your gun:
1 - Make sure the gun is not loaded.
2 - Make sure there is no air left in the gun.
3 - Only disassemble if you know what you're doing. If you dont have a good knowledge of your gun bring it to someone who does or an airsmith.
4 - Just for safety wear your paintball mask while working on it.
5 - Be sure to only use Paintball approved oil.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally have fun...
